Knots and Kisses Wedding Stationery

February 7, 2011

Following Fridays bespoke mood board, it seemed so appropriate to feature Knot’s and Kisses gorgeous new range, English Eccentrics! Designed and handmade by Nikki Ward, a trained fashion illustrator turned wedding stationer – with an impeccable eye for wedding design, this latest range was inspired by her love of all things vintage. Influenced by circus flyer’s, English tweeds and the decadent Victorian era…it’s a stunning collection!

From Nikki ” The range is perfect for a country wedding, a festival wedding and, with the tweed and plum, a winter wedding! It could easily be styled with long trestle tables, antique teapots and glass jars .. or with lots of deep plum coloured satins, fake fur and vintage jewellery. Grooms would look fabulous in country tweed with a plum tie and Brides could channel the vintage pink lace for inspiration. Below are just a few of the styling ideas I’ve had to match this trend…but to be honest it’s whatever you think – the key word is Eccentric!”

I just love that mood board…and adore the collection! To keep up-to-date with Nikki’s work, follow the fabulous Knots and Kisses blog…it’s brimming with pretty!
