Ethereal Wedding Dress Inspiration

I am proud to say I’m a Claire Pettibone Bride! I found I gravitated towards her designs as they’re very feminine and well, quite bohemian…adorned with lace, delicate beading and a nice dose of sass! It was no easy decision – there are so many incredible wedding dress designers to choose from – so I thought I’d put together some of my favourite frocks. Ethereal Wedding Dress Ideas…

Gorgeous gowns from top to bottom and left to right…Queen Anne’s Lace, Claire Pettibone; Arther, Delphine Manivet; Air Blue Gown, Sarah Treble; Erin, Halfpenny London; Violet, Sally Lacock; Pixie, Charlotte Balbier

For etherial on a budget, I would also recommend Monsoon and/or evening wear in House of Fraser (they carry beaded/feathered white designs which easily make the ‘cross over’).

I tried on many an etherial design before my wedding, in the end chose Monsoon even though I wasn’t actually looking for something ‘budget’ – it’s just they seem to have that ‘floaty with beading’ think nailed so perfectly! And you can get very well co-ordinated bridesmaid attire.

Wow I love that Charlotte Balbier one, I have looked through her website loads but never noticed that one! I think perhaps because on the website the model is sitting down. I am looking for a lace dress with straps and that one is perfect, now just have to hope it is a sensible price!

Hi Perdita, great point…thanks! Monsoon does offer fabulous ethereal style dresses, my friend Jo looked stunning in hers! xx

Holly, hi! I noticed you’re getting married in Devon too – congrats! Charlotte Balbier’s dresses tend to be very reasonably priced – yet you still get the designer look…well worth trying some on! xx
