Go For Gold – My Favourite Shades
Well hello there,
It’s been a while…I decided to take last week off as I was pretty sleep deprived – my little boy is teething already! I spent a lot of time staring at my laptop, trying to feel inspired, but eventually succumbed to my creative block & realised that if I can’t post with pleasure, I shouldn’t post at all!
This week is a different kettle of fish entirely. Why? Well it’s quite a big week for me – the last of my twenties!!! Yup – on Saturday I enter the ‘dirty thirties’ and I’m really looking forward to a fabulous new chapter…I’ve heard women feel at their most confident in there thirties – I hope this is true.
Anyhoo – in homage to my big day, this week I’ve decided to celebrate by, ahem ‘celebrating’ my favourite wedding colours…and there’s not a shade of grey in sight.

I have to say greys and silvers were my colour of choice and I still have a love for them, but on top of that it has to be yellow. From the palest creamy ones to the brightest vibrant ones, I love them! I would have had yellow for W day if the Mr hadn’t of been set on pink – which I have to say, I didn’t mind either as it meant I could feature stargazer lilies, which just happen to be my favourites. Oops, I’ve rambled on! Apologies, and once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! x
Hi Lydia – so sorry for the delay in replying! My family have been staying this week and it’s very manic at ‘chez boho’…Here’s to a very Happy Birthday to you too!!!! A fellow Leo…must be why you like yellow! That’s a lovely shade – but pink weddings are always rather gorgeous too…and stargazer lilies are b-eautiful!
I couldn’t decide on a wedding colour – so we just went for a mish-mash – ha!
