Blow Me Away! Wedding Balloon Decor

I have to admit – I’ve been a bit of a snob and have, until recently, poo-pooed balloons at weddings! I’ve always accossiated wedding balloons with garish arches that look a little Ronald McDonald and always remind me of birthday parties in the 1980’s…

However, around this time last year, I became hooked on American wedding blogs – and that’s when my attitude to wedding balloons changed. The US just make everything look so damn good and with oversized, latex balloons now being stocked on our UK shores, I think we do too…

I absolutely love the oversized balloons – they are gorgeous. I’ve seen them in loads of American wedding blogs. I am struggling to find them in the UK – do you know who stocks them? Any advice truly appreciated!

    Thanks!

We had giant latex balloons for our wedding, and they looked fab!

I don’t know where you’re based, Kate, but we got out balloons (and the huge tanks of helium needed to fill them!) from Balloons of London:

    Hope that helps.

Glad you found the info useful – our giant balloons were amazing both for decor and for photo. I think it was about £120 for 12 balloons and helium hire too, so not too hideously expensive, either.

    Love the blog, Sarah, btw!

Whenever I ask my couples what they don’t want at their wedding the bride always says ‘balloons’! But I think they’re underrated and you have proven with this super cute little board!

I think this is such a great idea & makes for some cute photos! The engagement photo in the field of balloons is just beautiful.
