This week has been a busy one, so at 11pm on Sat night I’m catching up online for the first time in days {thank goodness for google reader!} and there’s been plenty of pretty to catch my eye! Hello! I hope you’re enjoying a restful weekend. I’ve been lucky enough to have had the support of my mother-in-law for the last couple of days, so our baby boy has been well looked after {and spoilt} whilst I too have had the opportunity to take some time out myself. I’ve enjoyed simple things, like taking a long soak in the bath, painting my nails, even finishing the odd cup of tea  – and I’ve also indulged in some www time, catching up with other blogs and generally having a browse online…so here’s some Sunday Best for you…

Sunday Best

Happy Sunday all!

Hope the sun is shining for you. I’m off to our local regatta and spending some time with my gorgeous niece and nephew today – what a fabulous end to the week! Apologies for the lack of mood boards of late; some of you might have spotted that it was my hen do last weekend and with that and wedding plans, it’s been busy, busy at Boho Bride HQ! Am finally getting back on top of things though.

Here’s a little re-cap of things that have been happening in the wedding world over the past seven days…

♥ I welcomed my newest sponsor to the blog; the talented Natasha Jane who creates the most beautiful bridal headwear. Seriously swoon-worthy designs.

♥ I developed a serious girl-crush on the bride in from this Vintage Southern Wedding in Tennessee, featured on Ruffled. Old fashioned, high octane glamour at it’s very best. Her gown, her headpiece, her china doll skin – oh my!

Sunday Best – Country Garden Wedding

Sunday Best – The Any Campaign

This is a campaign that’s very dear to my heart. We really struggled to find a wedding venue that offered a ceremony outside…and are now getting married under a quirky ‘toot’ in the garden of a country house. I’m sure will be perfect - but it was always my dream to be married on the cliffs over-looking our local beach, where I was proposed to…

Our UK laws state that couples must be married under a permanent structure, which is a  huge constraint for those of us who haven’t dreamt of a traditional church ‘do’ and don’t want the formalities of a town hall or hotel. It also states that ceremonies must take place between the hours of 8am and 6pm…so no atmospheric candlelit ceremonies for the romantics amongst us!

The Any Campaign has been created by talented photographers and free-thinkers Tino & Pip (who also want to be wed outside!) to make a stand against these laws - in hope that we can get them relaxed and finally enjoy wedding ceremonies wherever and whenever we like.

So if like me, you feel passionate about changing these dated laws, so that we can finally celebrate our Great British shores and quintessentially English country gardens, be sure to sign the petition here!

Sunday Best – Boho Beach Wedding

This week’s highlight for me, was receiving the stunning image of Kat and Ben’s Dali inspired arbor. It really captured a sense of beach wedding bohemia, as they weren’t scared of making a strong and beautiful statement…making up their own rules, to create a day that truly reflected their relationship and identity.

Sunday Best – Modern Bride Wedding Show

Today I’m heading off to my first big wedding show, Modern Bride. With my oldest friend and soon to be Bridesmaid Ann in tow, it’s sure to be a hugely exciting and very girly day…

With a plethora of talented designers, photographers and suppliers to meet, there should be plenty of exciting posts to follow! Have a wonderful, relaxing Sunday. xx
