Coastal Inspired Mood Board – Seaside Wedding

Following on from yesterday’s gorgeous real wedding I’ve created a coastal inspired mood perfect for a seaside celebration. Taking the lead from nature’s palette keep things simple with minimal styling – a loose fitted dress, bare feet or flip-flops and decorate with seaside elements such as shells, starfish and sea grass…fabrics like hessian would work well too.

I’ve seen lots of red and white Valentine’s inspired weddings out there and I think they can look very stylish – especially when making bold statements with stripes and monograms etc…but for me, a Valentine’s celebration with clashing shades of red and cerise, paired perhaps with a soft grey tone to add depth will always make my heart skip a beat ♥

Shabby Chic with Girly Glamour Mood Board

Today’s’ board was quite hard to name – so I hope I’ve managed to translate what I mean! This board was inspired by a friend who’s wedding style is an eclectic mix of high glamour, feminine tones {muted pinks, peach and blues} with a vintage inspired, distressed sort of shabby chic bent – think peeling furniture, juxtaposed against sumptuous fabrics and reflective, shiny, blingy objects, such as mirrored vases and glass votives. I think it’s a very appealing style and can see lots of Brides channeling it – so enjoy!
