I was beyond excited to recieve an invite to the launch party of Rosie Parsons new Love Luxe Blog {I’ve mentioned on here before that it is THE place to be inspired when planning a celebration} as I knew, based on the impressive list of suppliers not only attending but partacking in the day, it was going to be one heck of a do!

With an array of styled tables and scenes spread across the beautiful Goldney Hall in Bristol – it was brimming with pretty and I left not only feeling full of tasty treats, but inspired to sink my teeth into as many creative projects as possible!

Go For Gold – My Favourite Shades

Well hello there,

It’s been a while…I decided to take last week off as I was pretty sleep deprived – my little boy is teething already! I spent a lot of time staring at my laptop, trying to feel inspired, but eventually succumbed to my creative block & realised that if I can’t post with pleasure, I shouldn’t post at all!

This week is a different kettle of fish entirely. Why? Well it’s quite a big week for me – the last of my twenties!!! Yup – on Saturday I enter the ‘dirty thirties’ and I’m really looking forward to a fabulous new chapter…I’ve heard women feel at their most confident in there thirties – I hope this is true.

Anyhoo – in homage to my big day, this week I’ve decided to celebrate by, ahem ‘celebrating’ my favourite wedding colours…and there’s not a shade of grey in sight.

A Vintage English Country Garden Inspired Shoot – Jenny Rose Flowers

When the uber talented Jenny Stone emailed me to ask whether I’d be interested in featuring a photo shoot she was putting together – I knew I’d be beyond happy to publish it at the mere mention of those who were taking part. Captured by Lucy Shergold and with decor supplied by Vintage Style Hire and hair and make up by Nicola Pettitt it was sure to impress. Shilstone House in South Devon provided the stunning backdrop, with Sarah Beaufoy perfectly modelling the beautiful gowns, loaned by The Ivory Secret…

Confetti Love

There are a fair few things I forgot at our wedding – the cheesecakes which were left in the venues tea rooms fridge and the eclectic mix of votive’s I’d been hoarding for many months…but the detail which I mourn the most is the technicolour confetti I’d planned to place in a basket by our order of service chalkboard. Ok, so it rained the whole time and we’d have probably looked a little skanky covered in soggy bits of colourful paper, but I still regret not having the pretty confetti *sigh*

Peach & Pink Wedding Mood Board

I have to admit, a couple years ago if anyone had said to me they were planning to use either pink or peach as the main colourway for their wedding I would have thought ‘meh’ and immediately passed them off as insipid and well…obvious choices.
