A Sneeky Peek – Our Charity Calendar Shoot

Todays post is a personal one, but all for a wonderful cause….On the 3rd of March I took part in a charity calendar shoot in aid of Help for Heroes and PC David Rathband’s The Blue Lamp Foundation. The Social Sirens Tweet Girls Charity Calendar was born from some light-hearted banter on Twitter, which led to Gina of By Gina Events taking the helm to create a shoot that spanned four counties; bringing us brave birds of tweet-land together in order to take our kits off for a worthy cause!

An incredibly liberating experience, those of us who took part not only bonded in our smalls – but boosted each others ego’s, banishing all thoughts of our own insecurities. It was fun, light-hearted and the most wonderful opportunity to meet fabulously gorgeous and inspiring women in the wedding industry. Here’s some behind the scene peeks…

Knee-trembling aside, it was heartening to be provided with the most wonderful support {excuse the pun} from lingerie suppliers, hotels and manor houses { in particular Bannatynes Charlton House where our shoot took place}, wonderfully talented make-up artists and hair stylists and the uber fabulous photographers and film companies who kindly offered their services for free.

Who took part: Elspeth Hardie; Georgina of Ruby Weddings; Suzie Wheat of Suzie Wheat Vintage; Denise Ward, Toastmaster and Celebrant, Kim of The Wedding Community. Make-up from Make-up by Trish; Photography from Ian and Greg of TP Photography, Henley of Lime Leaf Photography; Film by FX Films and the lady who made it all happen Gina of By Gina Events.

The ‘Big Reveal’ is set to happen later in the year…more details to follow then. If you’d like to donate towards these wonderful charities, you can do so through the calendar’s website here Thanks for your support!

With Love, Boho Bride
