Will and Vivienne’s {Shabby} Chic Somerset Wedding

Following yesterday’s hay bale inspiration, I thought it appropriate that I show off this wonderful West Country wedding from the lovely photographer Kate Mather. Featuring laid-back shabby chic-ness, at it’s very best and with one of the most effortlessly beautiful Brides I’ve ever seen! Here’s a few words from Kate…

“I have only been to Glastonbury during festival time when it has been swarmed with die hard music fans so it was good to go back and witness daily life without the madness that the festival brings.

Will and Viv are both extremely busy professionals yet they still managed to find the time to organise the wedding and create a wonderful festival vibe to their reception which was set on Will’s parents’ farm. Here are some of my favourites…”

Thanks so much for sharing Kate! xx

Lovely. Effortlessly beautiful is right: I love the way there is no pretention and ‘magazine wannabe’ about this wedding: it is just a delight of natural beauty and celebration.
